Ramona came highly recommended by my sister's social worker.  I thought she would find Assisted Living Facilities that suited my sister. However, she is so much more than her title. She actually drove her to the facilities and remained throughout the tours. That was a great help since I live in Florida. My sister really needed the assistance Ramona provided since she has many issues & can be difficult at times. That did not stop Ramona who's the sweetest and most caring individual. When I had an issue communicating with a facility, Ramona was right on it, arranging a 3-way call with the Director. I came to find out that she had also visited my sister several times, to check on her settling into her new facility. She goes way above and beyond. That is hard to find these days. I had the opportunity to sit down with Ramona and discuss housing options. I didn't think talking about such an uncomfortable topic could be so pleasant. I knew the second we sat down just how passionate Ramona was about her job and how much she truly cares about the well being of others. I have been dealing with Ramona Mauer since my mother's hospital admission sometime in early January of this year.  Since then, she has offered assistance through my mother's journey in rehab and arranged her admission into her current residential care facility.  She contacts me frequently and offers not only placement support but moral support.  I highly recommend Assisted Living Locators to anyone going.  This is a very difficult time for the family of a parent or loved one going through physical and mental illnesses and Ramona's assistance was a God send. I spent a delightful time with Ramona Maurer looking for a comfortable place for my husband who had lost his vision and ability to walk from a stroke. I didn’t want to leave him anywhere, but she helped me find exactly the right kind of “home” that I had been hoping to find. He seems very comfortable there and I am very happy with it. Ramona is wonderful.  She is caring, informed, and professional. We were lucky to have found her.  Once Ramona interviewed my wife and me, she set about searching for those facilities that met our special needs.  But more than that, Ramona accompanied us to each site, guided us through our visit and pointed out what each had to offer and let us decide whether to proceed or move on to another site. This is an unreserved recommendation for Ramona Maurer. Ramona recently helped my brother upgrade his care to a Senior Living Facility when his previous 24-hour in-home care became unsustainable. She was able to quickly locate a very nice local facility, near family and within his budget. She also provided thoughtful and empathic support during his difficult transition to assisted living. Ramona was available at all times to help during this stressful period. She also provided invaluable information and support after he moved into the facility. Her kindness, knowledge, and hard work allowed my brother to optimize his living conditions and provided much appreciated support for the family.
