After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Social Welfare from the University of California, Davis, I began my career as an activities director at a skilled nursing facility. My belief in the power of recreation, along with my passion for inspiring seniors to stay engaged, led me to pursue a Master of Science in Recreation with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation from San Francisco State University. Over the years, I have also served as a Marketing Director in senior living and as a supervisor for the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP), experiences that deepened my understanding of both the personal and practical needs of older adults and their families. Throughout my career, I have been a dedicated advocate for seniors and their families.
